So I’m over here in Guangzhou at the Canton Fair, and the Zongshen guys and I have been discussing a new model that evolved out of the reactions they observed when we toured their top secret new product development center nearly two years ago. The Zongshen execs told me they decided to press ahead with the new Moriarty model (it’s named kind of like our San Gabriel, but the Moriarty can carry a lot more cement and it has really cool beef jerky upholstery).
The new JG-150 Moriarty has a lot going for it, not the least of which is an engine vibration isolation mounting system inspired by the Norton Featherbed frame (rumor has it there’s a lot of featherbedding going on in Moriarty these days).
There’s more good stuff coming your way from the Canton Fair, folks. Stay tuned!
