I’ve been spending a lot of time and putting a lot of miles on the RC3 sport bike lately, and I like it.  A lot.  Most of my time before this has been on my RX3 and on my TT250, and I like those bikes so much that I didn’t give the RC3 the attention it deserves either on the CSC blog or on Youtube.  Folks, the RC3 is a fantastic motorcycle, and it’s one more round in the CSC cylinder that proves less is more.

I had the beautiful blue RC3 you see above out yesterday up on Azusa Canyon’s Highway 39, and I was blown away at how good it was.  The RC3 simply inspires confidence.  I’ll confess to being a little bit scared of the bike’s more aggressive riding position at first, but I found I was completely comfortable with it in just a couple of miles.

I’m going to spend a good chunk of time Saturday on the RC3 up in the San Gabriels on Glendora Ridge Road, the East Fork Road, and Glendora Mountain Road.   I might ride the bike over to the BMW place for lunch with my riding buddies just to make them jealous.  I’m going to shoot video on the bike this weekend up in the mountains, and I’m really looking forward to that.  I’d invite you to ride along with me, but truth be told, unless you’re on an RC3 I don’t think you’ll be able to keep up.  The bike is that good.  The words I’ve used before to describe a bike this crisp are light, tight, and an absolute delight.   This bike certainly answers the mail in that regard.  It’s just fun to ride.

In the meantime, here’s a short video I shot in the shop earlier today.

We’re blowing out the remaining 2016 inventory.  I think we’re selling the RC3 for too low a price, but Steve’s the boss and he’s the guy who gets to make these decisions.

That’s all for now, folks.   Watch for more RC3 videos in a few days.
