$15,000, or $4,000?

I’m getting to really love our Dual Sports and Donuts Saturdays….maybe too much!

Jelly donuts and a great cup of coffee.   Life is good.  When I saw that lone jelly donut this morning (from the Donut Man in Glendora), I knew it had my name on it.  I started to wonder how long it had been since I had a real jelly donut, and then I looked down at my chiseled abs (aka the beer belly) and I realized it hadn’t been long enough.  You can read all about that in the “You Tubby” story in 5000 Miles At 8000 RPM.  Yeah, it’s another 4 hours on the stairmaster for me today…

One of the other great things about our Saturdays is the moto exotica that rolls in every weekend.   A couple of riders were headed up to the canyon on their Ducatis this morning (you know, loud clutches save lives) when they stopped in for a chain adjustment.   They saw our RC3 parked out front and thought we were a Duck dealer.   Other guys see the RX3 and think we are a BMW dealer.   Whatever.

Anyway, one of the Ducati guys parked his $15K+ 899 Panigale right next to our sub-$4K RC3.    What a photo op!

The Duckster might be a little faster than the RC3.   Might be.   The fit and finish on our RC3 is right there, though.   And I imagine the insurance might be a little lower.

You’ll be able to see the CSC RC3, the TT Special, and of course, the RX3 at the Long Beach Motorcycle Show next weekend.   I’ll be there, and I hope to see you there, too.
