What happens when you turn the CSC Shop loose on the SG250 San Gabriel?
The bikers in the CSC Shop, lead by Wade, decided to customize a SG250 with the goal of creating a retro, cool little Scrambler. The bike is all finished now and it turned out pretty cool! Check it out.
The first change is swapping out the street tires for knobbies. Above is side shot of the bike showing off the new Shinko Knobby tires front and rear. Installed were the Shinko SR244 series tires, 3.00×17 front and 4.60×17 rear.
In the process, Wade removed the stock rear fender, stock turn signals and the tail light assembly. He then installed a CSC custom tail light assembly and low side mount.
In this photo you can see the mini LED billet turn signals mounted under the seat. This really cleans up the rear end of the bike and continues the bare, minimalist Scrambler vibe!
To complete the look, a matching set of front set of the mini LED turn signal lights and a CSC wire mesh light guard were installed.
Wade kept the stock black megaphone muffler, but wrapped the head pipe in performance header wrap. This is an attractive addition, but is also functional to hide any discoloration as well as deflect heat away from the rider.
Wade started with a stock white SG250 with the orange stripes. He removed all the stock stickers from the gas tank and fenders and put a cool racing stripe in black down the left side of the tank – again emphasizing the retro style of the Scrambler.
To complete the package, a CSC Scrambler handle bar kit was installed along with a set of the CSC blue diamond grips.
All together now and the bike really turned out great! It’s truly a one-of-a-kind and is in the CSC Motorcycles showroom – AND it’s for sale!
