Baja III and IV

I just finished that last blog post, thinking about Baja, when Steve walked over and asked, “hey, when are we going to do the next Baja ride?”

Mexico’s Rumarosa grade en route to San Felipe…check out the car wrecks down in the rocks

Okay, so here’s what I have in mind:  I’m thinking a 4-day TT250/RX3 jaunt down to San Felipe, all on secondary roads (no freeway riding in either California or Mexico) from the 27th through the 30th of October.   That would be a nice ride down through the desert, San Diego County Highway 94, into Tecate, down the Rumarosa grade, and then on San Felipe.  If you are interested, let me know quickly via the info@cscmotorcycles.com address and we’ll get the planning underway.   This will be about an 800-mile ride.

The next big Baja run will be down to Mulege (like our prior runs), and that will be an RX3-only ride in mid-March.   We’ll get to see the whales and a lot of the peninsula.  The round trip will be about 2000 miles.

Both rides are the same deal as the ones we’ve led in the past.  You’re responsible for all of your expenses (hotels, meals, fuel, etc.), and there’s no charge for us taking you there.  We’ll be posting more in the near future, and in particular, I’ll be posting about how to outfit your TT250 with our optional soft luggage.
