Saturday in Scottsdale…

A few more photos, folks, from our Saturday in Scottsdale at the Phoenix International Motorcycle Show…

As had been the case yesterday in Scottsdale and the week before in San Mateo, interest in both the new RX-3 Cyclone and the CSC-250 was high.   In fact, folks were signing up for their new RX-3 Cyclone motorcycles at a rapid rate.   Here’s what it looked like…

We had a lot of fun today and we’ll be in the CSC booth for more of the same tomorrow.   More than a few dealers approached us about adding the new Cyclone to their mix.   For now, though, it’s the business model we’ve been telling you about…direct to you, no middleman, and a super-low $3495 price.   Good stuff, and we’re continuing to fill up those shipping containers.    You recognize the exceptional value we’re offering, and the pre-order quantities are proof.   Tell your friends, and don’t forget about our inaugural Baja adventure (keep an eye on the blog for more info on that exciting ADV ride).

More interesting photos….here’s one of a custom Yammie Tenere with (get this) a Warn winch on the rear rack…

Talk about firing for effect…it’s a nice touch, but really…a Warn winch on a motorcycle?

Another interesting exhibit…when I was younger I always wanted a V-Max.   They are cool looking bikes and I know in a straight line they are hard to beat.   But, I’m older and wiser now, and when I saw the spec card on a brand new V-Max, I knew if there’s one thing I didn’t need, it’s an $18,000, 700-lb motorcycle that gets 27 miles per gallon…

Seriously, 27 mpg?   My 405-horsepower Z-06 Vette does better than that!

Here’s pretty cool decal on a Triumph Tiger tank…

I’ll tell you more about that bike and post a photo or two of it in a subsequent blog.

These shows are a lot of fun.   The food isn’t always great, but I got lucky this afternoon with a Johnsonville bratwurst sandwich…

That sausage is buried in there somewhere.   Hey, I had oatmeal for breakfast, and I couldn’t let my cholesterol get too low!

And I know, you want more photos of the young ladies at the show.   This is a tough job, folks, but I’m trying my best to bring what you want to the blog…these two ladies were in the Ducati and Harley booths…

More to follow…I have one more day in Scottsdale, lots more photos to share, and then we get to do the same thing all over again at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show next weekend!
