Two recent Sarge bikes…

I love the Sarge models…and I don’t know which ones I like more, the camo models or the OD green models.   When Steve built the first camo one, I brought my Garand and my Mini-14 to the plant the next day and got Lupe to pose for some photos while wearing a camo shirt.  Fun stuff, and it led directly to this video…

Well, our old Maestro Steve and Lupe built two more beauties, one bound for Colorado and the other for Texas.  Both beautiful places, although I’d give the nod to Texas if I had to pick a place to live.  I used to live in El Paso and then in Fort Worth.   Texas is my kind of place.  Colorado has a lot going for it, too, including some of the best roads I’ve ever ridden along the Dolores River.   Like I said, they’re both great places.

Anyway, back to the military bike story…both of these latest Sarge bikes are of the P-51 variety (they are 250cc motorcycles).    The first one is a standard GI bike (other than the deletion of the white star on the tank), and it’s awesome…

The second bike has several custom touches, including a set of awesome OD green wire wheels, a brown leather seat, and that promotion (to Captain, no less!) I mentioned in the last blog post…

These are cool bikes, folks.   Steve, our CEO, rides a Sarge model (the very first one we ever built), it’s still going strong, and  it always draws a crowd wherever he rides it.   Cool stuff, indeed!
