Our good buddy Howard is continuing his epic Scooter saga, and I just received three more great photos from him!

When I was in Kingman, AZ for the Mustang/Cushman meet, I met a fellow from Bozeman, MT.  Don told me to call him when I got to Bozeman, which I did.   He was tied up until today, when we finally got together and he took me on one of the best rides, so far. 

We rode the Hyalite Canyon Road to Hyalite Reservoir, where the picture was taken.

You may recall this photo we showed you a year or so ago of our good buddy TC on his Mustang at the top of Pike’s Peak…

TC rode his bike all the way to the top of Pike’s Peak back in 1966!

And do you know what? TC is still riding and winning awards, except these days he’s doing it on the motorcycle Mustang would be manufacturing if they were still in business…the California Scooter! Check out these photos TC sent to us…

The recent TC photos are from Manteca’s 4th of July parade, where TC took 2nd place honors in the classic cycles and cars category!

This first one is the most recent, showing Mike, Steve, and yours truly cavorting in the San Gabriels just a few days ago. I can’t stop watching this one. It’s almost as good as actually being out in the wind on my California Scooter (almost)…

Here’s another recent one I especially like…no music, but it shows what it’s like to ride on the freeway on my way home from CSC…this is my entire run along the 210, from Fruit Street to Mountain Avenue…

This one’s pretty cool…it shows Steve on the In-N-Out Bobber bike ordering a burger at, well, where else…In-N-Out!

And here’s one showing Art bopping through Pomona ritziest neighborhood accompanied by theme song from Miami Vice…

Do you remember the music from the TV show, Rawhide? I sure do…it seemed appropriate on this ride coming down from Mt. Baldy…

One last one for tonight…my ride home from the CSC plant on Friday on the Foothill freeway.

It’s up early for me…I’m going to be in the wind tomorrow on my Scooter!

When I was at the plant yesterday, I made a couple of new friends…Cindi and Andre.   It was pretty cool…they were talking to TK about a new bike for Cindi, but as soon as I arrived on my Scooter, Andre said “hey, aren’t you the blog guy?”

Cindi is trying to decide between the Greaser (that’s her with Andre and TK above) and an orange Classic.  She looks good on both bikes!

Oh, hey, I just received two more super photos from Howard, who is certainly making tracks!  Here are photos of Howard at the Continental Divide and in front of Yellowstone Lake!

Speaking of which, I uploaded a couple more videos I made while tooling around on my Baja Blaster yesterday…enjoy!

Yes, indeed, we are having a lot of fun.   Even more good news…my buddy Mike (whom I just visited last week on the East Coast) is in town, and he’s driving up from San Diego early tomorrow morning to go for a scoot with Steve and me up in the San Gabriels.   Watch for the photos and maybe another video in the next day or so!

Oh, one more thing…Vikki sent me a note a few minutes ago…our NBC news story is going to air sometime next week (not tonight), so I’ll keep you posted as soon as I know more.

A grand day to be out on a California Scooter, folks…I grabbed a bit of video with my Midland XTC-300 video cam today…this is the first one…

I’ll post a few more if I get a chance, including a dynamite blitz on the Foothill Freeway on my Baja Blaster!
